This was a hard one. To find photos to evoke emotion in the observer. I am not sure that I managed, but here they are.

Very nice, cold to warmth, great kitty shot..:-)
You accomplished it for me!
I feel like photo #1 during January and February, and part of March.
I can feel the little chickadee's excitement in #2.
#3: My state of mind, often, at work.
#4: ...soft...
#5: ...reaching, seeking...
Very nice shots! There is so much of warmth n feel in all the pics :D
Oh my goodness that bird picture is incredible!!! I love it!
Lots of loneliness and apprehension in these photos.
Great job!

love the snow scenery. Brrr. the poor lonely weed/stick coming up through the snow. The last photo is intriguing...can't decide if I see a reflection in the end of the yarn/rope.
Well, I think 'happy' is an emotion and I just felt plain happy looking at the chickadee and that beautiful sun-warmed cat.
I felt cold in the first shots, then warm and fuzzy with Kitty and the terrific bird shot, and I'm not sure what the last shot is of, so I'll say quizzical. :)
Kitty needs some hugs!
It was a hard one.....one I'd rather do in the summer. I've been feeling depressed when I see snow lately for some strange reason.
I like the roots, reminds me that spring will come soon I hope.
Our puppies are chasing the sun around the floor trying to keep warm too.
Like the shadow shot, nice job.
Ed, thanks, he was sure lovin' that little bit of sun shine
June, thank you, me too on the first shot, cold and dried up and dark. Love the little chickadees. They swirl around my head when I fill the feeders with their little wings going snap, snap, snap.
WB, thank you so much
Achieve, thank you. The chickadees are quite accustomed to me, so they are fun to photograph.
Laughing Orca, thank you...hard to find happy out there this winter
Brenda, thank you! It is a macro of the roots of a geranium I am propagating in a little clear glass vase. So it is a reflection from the window
Cathy, thanks, this was a hard one for a number of reasons.
Dibear, thank you. The last one is the roots of a baby geranium in a little glass vase
Ebie, thanks, he is a quite a guy, our Simon
Linda, funny thing that...same here. lol, I had no idea what to shoot, so I just went for random, but hopefully at least somewhat evocative. Not being a happy winter here
Nita, thanks, it is hard to think of spring when clamped down under all the white and cold, but it will come....I hope, I hope, I hope
RG, thanks, I am not too good at snow, but I am working on it.
I like the happy shot of the cat in the sunshine. And the chickadee, they always make me happy!
Shirley, thank you so much!
