I experimented with turning it off for a while. I know it is really a pain in the neck to try to read and type those twisted letters. Sadly within just a day or two spammers were aggressively hitting my old posts and driving me crazy.
So, I turned it back on. Sorry for the annoyance it may cause.

Those spam posts can be a real pain if you have to go back in the archives to root them out. A llittle front end security never hurts. (They're the illegal aliens of the blogosphere.)

Linda, they do and they were plentiful.
That's why I love Wordpress! I don't know why spammers have to exist:(
LInda, I tried Wordpress, but I was too lazy to learn to use it. lol Only got one spam last night, which was a nice improvement. Guess they have found me though.
