Male Baltimore Oriole with oranges
More bird photos. They are so tame this summer. The female Baltimore oriole actually lets me walk around weeding the flower bed by the feeder while she eats. It is fairly easy to sneak up on the others.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Can I take a vacay and just hang out on your porch? Love your big pretty northern birds.
I'm with you, Dani!
You sure do get some beauties hanging out at your bird feeder. All I get this time of year is English Sparrows, maybe a Chickadee.
Dani, wouldn't that be cool! I have two good chairs.....
Cathy, same goes. So sorry we didn't get to actually meet last time you came through the area
WW, we are lucky enough to have fantastic habitat all around us...an old orchard that gets mowed just enough to keep it open, pastures, hedgerows, a creek running through the place. And I think the sound of the fountain from the garden pond brings them. I sure do love having them around.
