Lovely article. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and observations.
I thoroughly enjoyed your column. You have a real gift for conveying the essence of life on a dairy farm, with all its woes and wonders, sights and smells.
The smells of fall are different here, but no less poignant.
Joated, thanks!
WW, thank you for your kind words. I much enjoy writing the Farm Side
Jeffro, I would love to be able to travel and experience what the seasons are like in other places. Alas the cows won't allow me to...
you know, i had no idea that yaks came in black and white. dalmation yaks. what won't they think of next??
There wasn't an observation in here that didn't have me wanting to pull a chair up along side you and discuss the lovely truth in all your are saying about this turning of the seasons and the delight of that zucchini.
Ericka, I am not too familiar with them. Thought they would be bigger, but these are just little guys. Kinda cute in a yakky sort of way. lol
Cathy, can't wait to grow more next year.
I have those yaks now hopefully they will have calves next year
I bought those two yaks hopefully they will have calves for me in the spring
I have those yaks now hopefully they will have calves next year
Drew, it was pretty neat to drive by and see them. Not too common around here.
