The country needs more ag info like this. What can I say about those who kill livestock and destroy farm property. Thanks for alerting us to these terrible things.
Actually, I subscribed to the Amsterdam Recorder just so I can read your columns.
As for "can you believe it..." well, I am never surprised anymore by the evil that man can do to others. We maintain civility by just a razors edge; the heart of darkness is always there, waiting to pounce.
On the brighter side, The goodness of man always wins - eventually. The good in man far outweighs the bad. For every bad deed that gets in the news, there are dozens of good things that go unnoticed.
And, the sun still comes up, the geese still fly overhead with a greeting of honks, and still hidden are bulbs waiting to break up winter and emerge...
Anon, it boggles my mind to think about the kind of people who would do such a thing! Just awful
Keith, that means a lot to me and I thank you for it. And you are right, there is much more good than evil, which I suppose is why the evil is so very shocking. These people make me angry and afraid though and they have such a staggering amount of influence...they don't deserve it, but how can we not notice them and hear their twisted messages when they get attention in such a manner?

Regarding those terrorists:
There's so much anymore that I find disturbing . . . actually - appalling.
These self-righteous monsters need to be introduced to the reality of what makes society work; what makes their cushy little lives possible.
