Sunday Stills.....Roads
I did not go anywhere atall this week, except last Saturday to fight through the ridiculous construct between the villages. (Don't get me started! It is obscene that the state thinks it is okay to starve all the small, struggling businesses and gridlock everyone in the area for that project. There is simply no effort made to move traffic in a timely fashion.....argghhhh!!!!)
Anyhow, this shot of the driveway early in the morning is about as close to a road as I got.

Ahh, the wonders of photography! Doesn't that driveway look wonderfully inviting in that photo? Although we know that the destination is worth the difficult drive, the terrors of traversing that track sure aren't evident in the photo!
NW, rofl, you nailed it! I wanted to call you yesterday. It looked for a second like I would have the house to myself for a little while, all caught up and quiet. Alas it only lasted about fifteen minutes. I wanted to invite you to camp. Week 'o the 16th, same locale as always. sure would be sweet to sit on the porch and talk for a while. Let me know.....
I would love a week I could just stay home. that would be wonderful...but not cause the construction is horrible.
Beautiful little roadway, looks mysterious.
You make driveways look great, nothing beats a private drive off of a main road..:-)
What do you do if somebody's coming in and somebody else is going out and they meet right at that point?
I love County Lanes! They are the best!

Makes we want to wander on around that corner and explore. Beautiful picture!
Exactly what a photograph should do...make you wonder what is just around the corner :o)
That's lovely. Something about a bend in the road that pulls you along .
. . . unless you and Numberwise know something the rest of us should know about! :-D
Driveway counts! Some are long roads and speaking from experince, feels like a road when you have to shovel it.
Crystal, lol, I just stay home because I can walk over to the barn to go to work. It's close.
VQG, it is just our driveway, thanks. The state highway is just a few feet from where it bends
Ed, thanks, I was desperate. We were simply too crazy busy all week for any excursions. I am thrilled about next week being archives!!
June, either somebody backs up or some crazy person (there are a couple in the family) drives up on the bank. lol
LInda, just the driveway, but it isn't too awful. Thanks
TCSL, thanks!
SCMomma, thanks, wish I could have caught the light better.
Caroline, thanks, just the state highway, just barely out of sight. lol
Cathy, thanks. We do. lol This is our driveway, which is notorious for miles around. It isn't too terrible right now because it is dry, but most folks avoid it like the plague...very round, muddy, icy, dangerous and awful.
MTW, oh, man, I have shoveled myself out of snow drifts in it enough! It is just a tenth of a mile long, but it is a long tenth of a mile. lol
I know it's your driveway, but it still looks like a road worth exploring.
I love stay at home weeks and lonely country roads.
what a beautiful morning shot? i always love to drive thru greens.
