All good. Seems there will always be this tension between conservation and development. We can only hope that wise decisions issue from congress. Agriculture makes civilization possible. Wildness and nature feed our hearts. Balance is the trick.
Well said, Cathy, from the "First" to the "trick". I guess my concern is rooted in the fact that congress usually deals more with trick than balance!

Cathy, it is a challenging balance indeed. I feel it strongly with my love for birds and thus following many birding blogs. I don't exactly have the same values as many of the important ones and yet we share that love for outdoors and wild. Dunno the answer.
NW, I cannot wait until we can sit together face to face and I can share with you some of the things I am learning about government contracts, which I am sure you already know. Shocking to me I'll tell you.
