We used to do that as kids... well actually- I still do!
Like Shirley . . I still do. In fact I had one last year that I held in front of smiling adults and that sucker must have sprayed a fountain 7 inches high. My friend got pictures. Awesome.
Then I read that some high school kids heard that you could get high snorting those spores.
They put 'em right up their noses and filled their lungs with the stuff and got pretty sick. Thank God we have good anti-fungals now.

Cathy, OMG I can't imagine sniffing the things! Ugh!
And I felt so stupid to have used that photo...been too busy this week to take new ones for the blog, so I just used something random that I had saved against such a day. I was hoping folks would watch the video, which much delighted me every time I watched it.
