Trying to get a sunrise for Sunday Stills....alas, they have been cancelled this week along with the closing of the canal. Much more rain predicted for tomorrow. yay.....not....

Sunlight through bunny ears

So here is what I saw when I went out photo hunting....

Bunny and flicker grazing together

An itchy fanny

Those pics are priceless. I miss runny babbits; don't see 'em up here (think wolf/bear munchies.)

Hello threecollie. I have come across your blog by accident. I am a farmer's wife in the Yorkshire Dales in the UK (Herriot country if you are an 'All Creatures Great and Small Fan')
We were a dairy farm but in the foot and mouth outbreak we had the dreaded disease and lot our herd of Holstein cows and have never gone back into it.
Now we have beef heifers and sheep and lambs from other farmers who bring them in for the summer months.
Lovely to meet you. Do pop over and see me.

interesting . . Rev. Paul's comment about "runny" rabbits. Slim pickings here in Ohio, too. Hmmmm.

These pictures are truly wonderful. Nothing sweeter than backlit bunny ears, silhouetted hummers and a young deer. Throw in a mustached male flicker and life is just fine:)

REv. Paul, thanks. I have mixed emotions about the bunnies. They are really fun to watch...very amusing with their antics. However, they are hell on gardens. So far we don't have much garden so I am just enjoying the silly things.

Weaver, oh! thank you for visiting and taking time to comment. I will certainly drop by to visit. Sorry to read of your loss in the FMD outbreak. That was the subject of quite a few farm columns I wrote for our paper. I am still befuddled by the federal government siting a lab to study it right in the middle of Kansas, one of our largest beef producing states.

Cathy, we seem to have a bunch of them. Deer too. Nice to see, but I wish they would drop their ticks elsewhere. The flicker was a surprise. Not that we don't have them, but usually the lawn raiders are robins and starlings.

Linda, thank you so much!
