Well cool trudgings at least. It's 49 degrees this morning.
Guess who's not complaining.....
Not complaining about Dublin and her bull calf yesterday either, although a heifer would have been nice. Day before she showed no signs of having it, yesterday morning she brought it down, all clean, dry, and walking like a champ, tucked it into a corner of the barnyard, went back out with the others to pasture, came in at night to feed it, then came into the barn to eat and be milked.

Cows do not do that. It was nice.

He looks chunky lol
I don't mind the cool mornings, but I am not all that ready for it to cool down too much.
49? It's 62 here ... wanna trade?
My grandpa loved it when a cow didn't need his help. Happened once in the last five years that he had the farm. :)
Just amazing what you get to observe and experience there.
Liz, he is a nice one. yet another Ellason bull, dagnabbit
Lisa, I love this weather. If it was like this year round I would be an energizer bunny of hard work. Alas....it isn't.
Rev. Paul, I like it! lol I was amazed by little Dublin. Cows really never bring their babies in like that.
Cathy, never dull, that;s for sure. lol
We are not that cool yet, but we did have a cool down to 80+* and it was lovely. But we hauled hay today in 95* Still I'm not complaining...there is always 6 months from now and then I really will complain.
