Cell Phone Side UP
Tis the season of gratitude. I am grateful that when I went smashing to the ice, which is covered with about five inches of running water....along with everything else you might find on the ground in a barnyard....that I landed cell phone side up. And that I drink a lot of milk, so I bounced rather than broke. And that I have a washing machine to remove the cow-poo water, which saturated every stitch I had on. And there are a lot of them, what with all the cold weather layering and all. It even filled my boot. Also thankful for a good hot shower. However, I am also kind of ticked off. Just in general. Which is terribly ungrateful I know.
It is treacherous out there. Ice, sleet, snow, rain, we've seen it all in the last 24. Until they cinder the road, I'm not going anywhere. I'm hoping my nephew will be able to get here safely in Mom's two-wheel drive Malibu.

Glad you "bounced" rather than broke.

Bouncing . . . good :)
"Ticked" . . . . Seems to be a lot of that going around this year.
Something in the zeitgeist.
Joated, Looks like you are getting it worse than we are! Hope everything goes all right and you have a great holiday.
Cathy, i was just ticked because I fell and bunged myself up on big-cooking-day. In a reasonably good mood otherwise. lol
Could have been worse, but that doesn't mean it was fun.
And what they said about bouncing... :)
I'm glad you bounced!!! But I know you are sore from the bounce. And wet from one end to the other...nasty!
