I swear, he was THIS big! |
Or, my bat friend's back and there's gonna be trouble.
Yeah, right here in the kitchen, innocently going about my business, when, swoop! Loop-de-loop, the bat is back.
Guess he is enjoying his fame being featured in this week's Farm Side or something.
Anyhow, nobody home but me so....
Put Daisy in her crate.
Tie the back doors (which open into the kitchen) both open.
Get an umbrella.
OK, where did he go?
Hmmm....is that glob of dust hanging off the high cupboard really dust, or a bat using cloaking technology?
Shine the flashlight at it.
Yep, it's a bat. Swoop, swoop, loop-de-loop...
And SCORE, right on out the door, and around the house out to the front where he spent summer evenings gobbling bugs outside the big windows.
Next question, how the H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS is he getting IN?!?!?

Resourceful you are! I would of been in stitches watching that scenario going on! I can picture it now!
Hummm I don't like this bat in the house thing...I hope you get rid of all of them!

A half inch crack is about all those bats would need. You wouldn't happen to have any of those in that rambling farmhouse of yours, would you?
lisa, I think I'm going batty....
Linda, wish he would just stay in the attic!
Joated, um, well, yeah, I guess we do. lol
