The next generation will arrive to sleep in this cradle my dad made when Liz was born.
We are nervous and excited and filled with loving anticipation.
We got the cradle out today and polished it and put it in the living room.....

Very, very nice, and it's a family heirloom to boot. Just awesome, that's all!!!
I love it! Do you know if it is a boy or a girl?

Lovely. It looks like it could last for many many more generations.
Now that is a family treasure.
So glad you're looking forward to a spring baby.
They'll be so many reasons to celebrate as the earth rebounds after this hard winter.
When Peggy Ann lays down to sleep in the cradle, she will be the fourth generation involved with it. It still looks as beautiful as it did when it won Best of Show at the Fonda Fair. Give Liz our love.
Mom and Dad
The cradle is beautiful, I love the wood and the finish. Grandkids are just so special, you do not know you have that much love to give until you hold that little baby. Best wishes to this new special family Liz and hubby are making.
Jeffro, thank you. We love it...Dad put so much work into making it beautiful and our kids slept in it when they were babies. A lot of dolls did too when they were bigger. lol
Linda, a girl, named Peggy Ann Marie.
Jan, thanks
Cathy, it fits here so well. Thanks
Mom, will do, and thanks! We love you guys.
Ellie, thanks. You are so right about the little grandbabies. The boss has a little one, which I am graciously allowed to share and she is such a sweetie.
How exciting! Such a special time :)
