Plans
And so the plans are more or less made. A little north, a little Gulf Coast, hopefully a few beaches and a lot of birds. Alan just decided to go to Florida because he has some time off. And to take his mother and his slightly older sister along. I am nervous on one hand and utterly thrilled on the other. Haven't been south at all since a spring break during the college years. Yeah, that long ago. It's time.
What a wonderful idea! I hope you enjoy it IMMENSELY - and a very merry Christmas to all of you.
(By the way, when we visited Orlando - Nov. '08 - it was in the 70s. While we wore shorts & short sleeves, the locals were in coats and hoodies. Nearly killed ourselves laughing...)
What a truly lovely gift! Mom, son and daughter!---And Peggy I'm assuming! You will have a hard time heading back to the frozen world, but, oh, will it be worth it!

You just go for it, girl and enjoy!'Cuz the solstice did come & go so that means spring is just around the corner. You'll be starting seeds in Feb. and wonder where the winter went.
June, I am so eager to just step on a beach. Hear the waves and the birds, smell the water. yeah...
Jan, he is a good boy and very kind. Thanks
Rev. Paul, can't wait, same with us the only time I went down. It was March and we did most of the state. We were swimming, while natives were freezing. I'm a lot older now though. lol
Linda, Peggy and her mom and dad will be holding down the fort here at the farm with grandpa. This is our middle daughter, Becky
12Paws, thanks. I wish we could leave today. lol I've been getting by propagating a mess of mint plants to sell at the swaps come spring. Got to start some lettuce soon, so we can have fresh greens
