Then lettuce have tacos....which we did, what with it being tomato season and all...plus homegrown ground beef. I made a lot, but it didn't last long....
It must have caused these Southwestern desert sunsets, right here in the yard.
And a bubble...the dish soap caused the bubble, but I thought it was pretty |
Anyone have an id for this plant? Seen at my cousin's restaurant...pretty, but no one knows what it is. |

Maybe a heuchera--there's many varieties?
It's ligularia, maybe ligularia dentata.
Arizona sunset! How beautiful they are! I liked your bubble also!

Denny144 is right. I am a Master Gardener and I have many different Ligularias in my Garden. Ligularia Dentada it is and it blooms this time of year. It will make babies and it is easy to devide.
Beautiful! Taco's must be the food of the week. My sister told me last night that her and my niece both had taco's!
Bill, thanks, it is very similar!
Denny, thank you so much! That is it! I really have admired this plant and want to get one.
Linda, thanks! I saw pink on the walls inside the house and ran out to grab a shot. It was so pretty
Uta, thank you! I am kind of excited about looking for a specimen. This is a really pretty plant. Not sure I have a damp enough spot, but maybe by the water garden....
Lisa, I think we will have them again soon. They were really tasty and we don't often have lettuce and tomatoes.
So much beauty. So much whimsy. Love it :)
Cathy, thanks. I couldn't resist the lettuce. It was SO pretty and tasted as good as it looked. I need to get some planted for indoors....I always forget to get it going and then we don't have any until January.
