National Farmers Day
A day to thank your farmers for all they do.
So, thanks farmers for milk for my coffee and to drink with supper, beef, pork and lamb, and farmed fish and vegetables, and leather, and soap and other items too numerous to mention.
And ice cream. Did I mention ice cream? Thanks farmers!

And a BIG thanks to you and Ralph and the kids and Peggy!
Linda
Linda, thank you right back for all the good things you and Terril grow! Liz made baked beans with your pintos several times and they were wonderful.
Thanks, indeed! One of the great pleasures of regularly visiting farmers' markets is that I get to know some of the farmers by name and enjoy their conversations about their work. Or any topics. My paternal grandparents were farmers, so even though I personally don't farm, it's in my blood.
Jacqueline, I love farmers markets too. There is nothing that compares with fresh, locally grown produce. I especially love local honey! And apples. And corn. Oh, heck, I love just about everything except eggplant, and the right cook can make even that tasty.
