Did She or Didn't She?
When this photo was taken one July day three years ago, I think she did. Today, well, it is pretty darned sunny out, so six more weeks of winter.
But wait! In Upstate NY, on the second day of the second month, there are ALWAYS six more weeks of winter for our eager anticipation.
Always.
Meanwhile, check this out. Turns out the things below may be more accurate than the rodent.

Very interesting link. If it's accurate, those of us in NW Ohio just need to suffer through March to get to Spring!
Jonna, well, I hope they are right! Once, just once, we had spring in March. My brother was about to deploy to S. Korea, but he helped us get the fences built and the oats planted the earliest ever before he left. Then came torrential rains, which wreaked havoc on the crops, washing them right away. Still....I would love an early spring.
We always have six more weeks of winter also. BUT this year is odd...the Bluebirds are back, and huge flocks of Red-Wing Black Birds and whole month early...makes me wonder....and it's warm. 62* for the last couple of days.
LInda, it is howling here today after several inches of mealy snow. Ugh!
