Missing

and presumed...sick.....really, really sick.

When you live with a preschooler they bring stuff home....all kinds of cute crafts, skinned knees and elbows, an amazing store of exciting new knowledge...and bugs....

They bring home lots and lots of contagious bugs, and generous young folks that they are, they share.

We have perhaps the most wonderful preschooler in the world here at our place.

Thus we also get bugs....

Everyone in the family fell like dominoes to a stomach virus of horrific proportions over the past few days. Only one convenience in the house so....it was great fun.

Everyone is either well, or at least on the mend now, but that was ugly.

Hope no one else catches it.

Oh! Gosh! I wondered where you were...I'm glad the mending is starting to take place.

It's good she's so adorable :)

There's nothing more miserable than a stomach flu.
I'm so neurotic about nausea that I always have a supply of zofran nearby.

Hope you're all feeling better and enjoying the beautiful promise of spring.

Now I remember why I don't miss having a pre-schooler in house.

Now, imagine being a teacher of all those little germ carrying children. While I dealt with the older versions (high and middle school), every September would see me getting reacquainted with "old friends" or acquainted with a fresh set of infectious bugs. After 30+ years--plus a few with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts--I figure I'm immune to most anything carried by contact or air.

Aw....this has just been the worst winter for bugs. Glad to hear you are all on the mend.

Linda, we were so darned sick. Not really quite well yet, alas, but better every day

Cathy, improving daily, thanks. And yes! Loving the bright colors and finding migrants, although things seem to be getting off to a bit of a slow start locally. Only two warblers so far!

Joated, I'll bet your immune system is the equivalent of a health Iron Man. Can't say the same, alas. I try to avoid catching the things that come home, but how do you say "no" to a sick little un who needs a hug from grandma? You don't. lol

Jonna, one after the other! We have been sick more than we have been well so far this year. Can't wait until school lets out for summer!
