Denny, it just won't stop! Back to the long johns and three shirts indoors. We woke up to another couple inches this morning. Brrrr.....
Jonna, I don't blame him. I don't think we are supposed to get that much but we have another mess coming our way. Snow again this morning. I was planning on taking a nice bouquet of daffodils up to my mom today, but they are flat and I think frozen. Not our year I guess. Take care.
I will miss the daffodils. Mine are up and starting to bud out, but this will set them back. When Becky goes for groceries, will you ask her to please also get Dad a bag of orange raisins? Love, Mom
Mom, they are looking worse every day. I was going to pick some for our dining room table too, but I guess not. Sorry. Raisins/done! Love you!
Linda, seriously. Snowing again today! Ugh. I am ready for spring too, for sure. On the bright side, every time the new snow melts the grass here is so green it literally glows. Looks like a scene from Ireland in a movie! Take care, dear friend.
Snow this time of year never lasts long, thankfully. But it's still a shock. I remember sometime in the 50 years we've lived in Saratoga, we had 10 inches of snow on the tenth of May! I think it was 70 degrees a day or so later and the snow was all gone by the end of the day.
Jacqueline, Alan was just reminding me that he went snowmobiling in May a couple of years ago. Lol. Not fond of the white stuff, especially in spring, but I guess I know in my heart that we have some cold to go yet before it gets nice. Take care!
It’s coming my way in Michigan tomorrow and I am not a happy camper.
ReplyDeleteOh you should hear my husband - never a snow lover. We are due to get up to 7 inches today!
