It is nice seeing your area and yes it looks a lot like our area. We have several communities of Amish also here in WI.
My son just visited your area and VT a few weeks ago. He said it reminded him of where I live...but on Steriods!

Love the yellow light in the second photo. Life seems to have a slower pace where you are, love that the traffic has 4 legs instead of four wheels.
Val, thanks, we have had so ridiculously much rain that we don't go out as much as we might, but we still get to see cool stuff.
Shirley, thanks, it was really gleaming after the rain. We actually have plenty of traffic of the 4-wheel kind too, but they are not as much fun to photograph. lol
Awww, the young kid coasting in his only ride. A wagon. What a great shot! Can't help but feel for the working mule full of smutch on their face. Such is the life of working equine. You have such interesting views on your travels.
Aurora, wonder if he was late for school and his mama let him take the wagon to get there quicker. They usually walk in groups along the road. We do get to see a lot of amazing things along the road. Thanks
