Ha ha! Your fellow looks just like me, trying to be warm in a leaky old house with a husband who won't turn the thermostat up past 60. But he gave me an electric lap throw for Christmas, which is now in constant use whenever I sit down. Our cat likes it, too. He would never sit on my lap before, but now he's there every time I sit down. Hang in there! Only a few days now before the shortest month of the winter. And the sun pouring in the south-facing windows actually warms the rooms now.
