Wow, I think this is just amazing. What an experience. We don't have the opportunity to do this in the UK.

Thanks, Wil, it was kind of muddy for good hunting, but it is always fun. wish I was a better photographer so you could see how they really sparkle. The bottom of the quarry glinted so much in the sunlight that it literally hurt your eyes.
Sara, sorry you miss the experience. I love treasure hunting, even when the finds aren't really all that valuable.
Next time you go - I'd love to see a pix of the glittering quarry floor. Cool.

Hi Cathy, I will try to see if I can do it. It seems to be very hard to capture the sparkle of the stones. My photos certainly don't begin to do them justice.
