Hmmmmm. I'm guessing that's part of a deer skull. How long does deer season last? It's got to be maddening having to worry about some idiot with a gun wandering around on your property.

Even something like that has its beauty, doesn't it?

We spent a couple of years living right next to an extremely popular gov't hunting area and also surrounded by privately owned woods and farm land. We didn't leave the yard for two weeks...and even in the yard we wore flourecent orange.

Cathy, yes ,he found it in the woods...deer season lasts about a month..and it does make us nervous.

Stacy, I thought it was pretty cool too. I have to keep after the boss all the time about wearing orange. So far this year it hasn't been too bad but some years it is insane. We keep our ag bags of forage right behind the barn and we have had guys come right down in there on 4-wheelers. They can't even catch up with them to see who they are.

Hi Cubby, we kept it because we thought it was pretty neat.
