I'm not sure what to make about the stories, as I know nothing about farming economics.
I know that open borders are terrible for nations. Are they terrible for cattle, too? (I would think so but I'm open to hear about it).
Hi Mrs. M, it is a very complicated formula, but the open border, in my opinion, benefits large beef companies much more than it does individual farmers on either side of the border. I was stunned that FSIS returned to a normal schedule of cross border beef inspections only a couple of weeks after they stepped them up because of the e coli problems. Makes you wonder...
