Lovely! I need to plant somse iris in the worst way!
Beautiful! I have one - a dark purple which was a gift from my Mom two years ago. It has a huge bud on it. I've never had great luck with them but I think this one is really going to bloom :)
Would you look at the texture of those beauties! WOW!!
Very nice. The purple puffs (View) are interesting. Don't see them around here.
Hey, isn't winter just about 5 months away???
Rurality, I love them...we have iris borer here, which causes them to requite some extra care, but they are so worth it. This one was given to me by a friend a couple years ago and really came into its own this year...thanks
Deb, dark purple sounds lovely. I hope you can post a picture. Thanks
Steve, thanks! The purple puffs are alliums. I just started trying to grow them two years ago. I really like them. I had some spectacular navy blue ones, but they only lasted one year. Don't know if I did something wrong or if they weren't hardy, but they were sure pretty.
And please, please, don't remind me of that W word....Argghhh!!!1lol
Love your Iris shot! My iris's are about to flower!
mon@rch, thanks, they are better than usual this year I think
