Barn swallows are the bane of the cats around here. The cats really try to catch them, but the little wily devils always win.
Great story pictures!
Unbelievable! I don't know how you manage to catch this stuff. Do you wear your camera around your neck 24/7?
Wise cat to leave - great pictures.
Great shots. Without pictorial proof I had my money on the cat.
Great pictues. It's pretty easy to read that cat's mind!
Jeffro, we keep hoping to get a colony of barn swallows, but they come in, hang around for while and leave...wish they would stay.
JB, thanks so much
akagaga, I really don't. lol I was digging up the plants I gave to my little bro when this happened and I had to run inside to my desk to get it...there has just been a lot of high drama around here as the baby bird season advances.
Nita, she was...I wish she would stay at the barn! And thanks
Jenn, it is fun to watch, although I worry about the cats retaliating.
Jan....well, she is pretty old. They were after one of the younger ones and it was a toss up whether they were going to end up on the menu.
Stacy, she doesn't look very happy does she?
I've got the same thing going on here. The war of the cats and birds is such great fun to watch. Not so much fun when it starts at the crack of dawn though.
Linda, sometimes I waste so much time watching I don't get any work done. lol
