Linda, it is a small hawk, we think a broadwinged, but it keeps to the shrubbery and is hard to see. It is welcome to any and all pigeons
FC, ditto, Alan shoots them, but they understand predator speak a lot better than bird shot
Linda, I'll ask him....
akagaga, so far he has stayed quite far from the house, but we get a female Coopers most years and she likes the feeders too :(
ED, thanks, pretty blurry, but he was not obliging about coming anywhere near the house and I was on deadline for the Farm Side so I couldn't go out and play.
Dani, that is so cool. Your bird photography is amazing! I loved the owls!

Pigeon Pillager? Is that an Owl or a hawk or something else?
Linda
Pigeon Pillager
More power to him!
Can I borrow him?
You keep him on your side of the river. If he's the same one I saw last year, he likes cardinals, too.
Or mice,rats,bunnies,cats, ect.....
nice pic...
We have a Coopers that loves the yard doves. Elizabeth thinks it the neatest when she finds the little legs that he pitched.
