Well color me shocked! Schumer doing something sinceble for a change? Brings him a wee little bit higher in my estimation.

A very good move, indeed!

JW, whatever else he gets up to he seems strong on dairy issues. Although there are plenty of people who pooh-poohed the whole cow tax issue and said the EPA would never do such a thing, I am very, very grateful that someone is trying to get the no tax thing put into writing. It took years and years to get the EPA to take milk off the list of hazardous substances like oil spills, so we know they don't necessarily think too clearly.

I'm glad someone's doing something about that ridiculous tax, and also I'm surprised that Schumer is behind it. I never heard that the EPA thought milk was a hazardous substance. Who thinks up those things.

I have to agree with J.W.

Schumer and "sensible" don't seem to fit together too often. In this case, however, he's on the mark. (And I never thought I would say that about ole Chuckie.)

Cathy M, it never fails to amaze me, but he does make an effort for dairy. Ag is back to being the number one industry in NY so I am glad

Joated, amazing indeed, but I'll take it. the law of unintended consequences seems to slam farmers way too often
