Life on a family farm in the wilds of Upstate New York

I remember trying to come up with names for calves that fit my grandmother-in-law's naming scheme for Staffordshire Farms' animals when the registration papers were due.
We had to get pretty creative sometimes.
I sent Liz some Lakota words from out here in South Dakota that might work. I have several friends who speak and teach the language.
Caroline, what a nice thing to do for her! And so neat that you know folks who speak the language.
