I wish I could come across something unusual for Macros. You find beauty in the most unusual places. I need to branch out more...wonderful shots.

Lovely detail on the feathers. And the colors in the shotgun shell photo are fantastic: blue, red, brass (high and low, I notice) and the rich wood of the table. Super!

Very nice shot of the feathers. You second picture says don't mess with me or my family! Nice Christmas colors with the shotgun shells though.

Colleen, thanks so much. For some reason I get a real kick out of macros...so much fun to get a close look at things

Joated, thanks, he dumped a pocket full...or really several pockets full..on the table and I thought they looked kind of cool the way they lay there

Dani, thanks

Nita, a ruffed grouse...intended for dinner although we may need a couple of roosters too. lol

Lisa, thanks!

Dibear, it is, it is, thanks

Holly, ruffed grouse or partridge, the first one the kid ever got. Thanks

Linda, thanks!

Steve, thanks, I have so much fun with macros

RG, thanks, I just liked the way they looked lying on the table when my son emptied his pockets after hunting (he does believe in being prepared. lol)

Meadowsweet, welcome to Northview and thanks for the kind words. It was our son's first ruffed grouse
