Sunday Stills...Pets

This is an oldie, but a real favorite of mine. I had a picture of the cat all ready to go but he is on a certain list that precludes me glorifying him just now...the little stinker.

Top pic is Liz and Foolish. Foolish is a milk cow now but still pretty gentle.

And here is that rare creature....hardly ever seen...a border collie hibernating. Dear old Gael (who has NEVER bitten me)...in her usual pose this time of year. She likes snow about as much as I do...not much that is....

For more Sunday Stills.....

When Husband and I mmoved to the hill, we thought about getting cows. We knew they'd be PETS though...and we couldn't figure out how we'd get a bed big enough for them to sleep with us at night.

I have a special place in my heart for border collies...for all herding breeds...because of the kelpies I've loved.

Nice picture of Liz and Foolish. Looks like a nice way to spend a Sunday, laying around.

That is one special cow! One of my dogs hates to go out in the snow...even with a coat on.

Nice photo of Liz and Foolish! And funny to read about your cat's misbehavin'. My calico (Topaz) jumped up to sit in my lap this morning for Sunday Stills and bit me! She is lap-banished now. What is going on in their little heads! Hello-o in there! LOL.

Ed, thank you.

Dibear, some of them are very sweet...others...not so much. lol

anon, Yeah, here too, that is an oldie

Sara, thanks, I am a fan of the big black and white cow myself

June, Liz is always begging to bring her show cow Mandy in so she can sleep in her room. So far I have resisted although a number of little calves have come into the kitchen for a warm up

RG, thanks, Gael is funny. She thinks she is not allowed in the chairs (didn't used to be but we have gotten soft) so she only gets in them when she thinks we aren't looking...thus the nap on the dining room floor

Tipper, thanks!

Shirley, she is indeed an old one. Thanks

dickiebo, after what he did to my leg the other night you can have him. lol

LInda, thanks

Holly, I hate the stuff, but it looks as if it may be here to stay...

Lori, thanks, Gael is a real wuss. She hates to even get her feet wet. She never let it bother her when she was working though...back in the day

Michelle, thanks!

FW, must be something in the water or something. This cat is the best behaved cat I have ever had...normally..or he wouldnt' be in the house. I don't know what possessed him

Jeffro, exactly. She is old though and has bone cancer so she is slowing down. She still gets crazy when the phone rings though. lol

Tammy, thanks, he lies on that table and watched the bird feeder

msw, thanks!

Brenda, she is a nice cow and was a real pet as a youngster. Thanks

Good shots! I agree with your dog.

It's best to sleep and just forget it.

LInda, I always thought that bears had the right idea. Eat a lot and lounge around in the sun all summer. Get really fat, find a comfy bed and sleep all winter. Wake up slender and hungry with your kids half grown. What's not to like?
