Could Hay be the Answer to Saving the Beaches

I was going to do Wordless Wednesday today because I am supposed to be writing the Farm Side. However, a blog friend in the sunny South posted this incredible story and I wanted to be sure you had a chance to read it.

Oil Removal, It's as Simple as Hay

Farmer ingenuity..you gotta love it. I also hope it works....

Very amazing! He's hoping the government listens (finally) to the little guy! I'm not holding my breath, though... which company or senator owns stock in the oil-removal product business? :-p

Excellent demonstrration. Let's hope he gets the right ear. Certainly a quick and cost effective means of getting the oil sopped up.

And if it gets scattered on the ocean where the waves can do some of the churning action, it's even better. Now, who has a floating manure spreader to help scatter the hay?

Lisa, I was awed!

REbecca, I was so impressed. The things people think of...they just amaze me.

Joated, I would think that there would be many ways to dispose of/and/or reclaim the oil soaked hay as well.
