Food for Thought
Big headlines lately about tariff cuts by China, particularly for US pork....
But is US pork really US pork?
Or is it Chinese pork produced in the US by American farmers?
Will tariff cuts and diversion of resources leave our shelves bare of bacon? (Ack!!!)
Just who is being aided by these cuts as China sells pork to itself?
Read these and decide for yourself....
China cuts tariffs

Life without bacon and ham is not worth living.
Chinese pork produced in the US by American farmers--- is what I think. Smithfield is Chinese pork raised in America.
Jan, no lie there! All those photos of bacon day about killed me. lol
Linda, yes, we are allowing far too many countries to buy our land and ag infrastructure and to control our production. I am afraid we will regret this sooner rather than later.
I agree! A sad predicament, me thinks.
