March Roars In

A lot like February. Cold, windy, uninviting.

Take a closer look....

However, migration has started, albeit a little sluggishly.

The sun is out...today at least....

Gadwall

Makes you want to get out even though once you do you want to get back indoors just as quickly.

See what I mean?

Today a pair of Western Bluebirds played and played in front of us. I was delighted. No matter what spring is happening! YAY!

Well, only the horse's nose was within the No Parking zone, wasn't it? Thanks for your photos of this blustery day and a few of its delights, however chilled. I have been sick and haven't ventured out for over a week and probably won't for some time yet, so I feast on these images and your delightful words.

Mom, lol, no, no placard. Love you!

Linda, what awesome birds! We have seen an unusual number of their eastern cousins this winter and much enjoyed them. Today the Canada and Snow Geese are flying over in large numbers. great fun!
Jacqueline, so sorry to read that you have been ill. I hope you feel better really soon. Thank you for being so encouraging!
