Before the Hell storm

I saw those storms south of here, and I figured that you must have been right in their path. Storms must be spectacular from your perch on that cliff!

Hi NW, they are all too impressive here and those hit while we were milking. Scary to be surrounded by metal dividers and stanchions while lightning is slamming all over the place.

OK. You scared the bejabbers out of me with that metal stanchion and lightning slamming business. I'm assuming you've got serious lightning rods all over your structure there.

Cathy, we live high on a hill a half mile or so from some big power transfer lines. Storms are terrifying in the barn. There are a couple of old lightning rods up there and I sincerely hope I never have to find out whether they work or not. lol I have gotten a little tingle a time or two from distant strikes and my later f-i-l was knocked right down, although uninjured by one.
