Dairy farming has its own version of this program. It is called Cooperatives Working Together, or CWT.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! I said the same thing yesterday! Well almost... It make me feel sad to think of all the bred heifers going in this wave.
Sara, that is amazing....the program disgusts me. Every time milk prices have gone up after they have killed thousands of good, healthy cows, there have been other factors in play...the border closed, Monsanto not being able to make BST. Now that there are no other factors increasing prices they actually went down after the last round. PLUS our beef prices are in the toilet so you can't even sell heifers to make up some bills.
