And it appears that suing someone who causes you harm is a bit harder there than here.....

What's scary is that I'm not even surprised now that this can happen.
I agree with Dani, and what more what is so horrible is we seem to be powerless to stop it.

That is absolutely horrible! What is wrong with some people?!???
Then again, their justice system is a little different than ours:
"On November 24, China executed two people for their part in the 2008 contamination scandal."
1) I have ZERO confidence that the people executed were the main culprits.
2) I have ZERO confidence that the Chinese Government will stop shipping dangerous products to the USA.
3) I bought some canned oysters the other day and noticed that they were from China when I got home. Returned them for a refund next trip to grocery store.
